The Maine Antiques Festival held each August at the Fairgrounds in Union, Maine, is a great way to find unique treasures. The festival features more than 350 vendors from across the country and Canada, which makes it Maine’s largest annual antiques show. Whether you’re a collector, a browser or looking for a specific piece of furniture to complete a room, a trip the Maine Antiques Festival is a blast. Union is only about a 20-minute drive from The Hartstone Inn in Camden, making it a fun and easy excursion while you’re in town.

Details about the Maine Antiques Festival

The three-day festival is held at the Fairgrounds in Union, Maine. There are several admission tickets available. You may choose to shop with the early birds and purchase a ticket for Friday. Or, you may choose to shop with the masses on Saturday and/or Sunday. This rain or shine event offers indoor and outdoor shopping areas. Be sure to take your time and look closely at the items that are offered. You just might find a valuable treasure!

Vendors offer a wide variety of formal and informal items, including vintage linens, antique postcards, books, maps and prints, 18th and 19th early American furniture and accessories, china, collectibles, rugs, games, sports memorabilia, silver, crystal, estate jewelry, repurposed furniture, paintings, maritime antiques, glass, tools and much more.

Directions to the Maine Antiques Festival from Camden

To get to the Fairgrounds in Union from The Hartstone Inn in Camden, head Southwest on Elm Street toward Wood Street. Turn right onto ME-90 West and drive 2.7 miles. Then turn right onto ME-17 West and drive 8.7 miles. Turn left onto Common Road and in just .10 of a mile, turn right onto Fairgrounds Lane.
